Simply put, Nakita plans, creates, and optimizes local and national marketing campaigns, ranging from a city wide public-safety campaigns to helping ambitious sole proprietors grow thriving businesses with multiple locations in and around the world. Over 25 years, he’s built Powwr into a powerful, multicultural marketing agency providing award-winning services.
On a more spiritual level, Nakita thinks of his work as “helping our clients find their voices.” He defines and builds their brands, cultivating and fine-tuning their messaging to create consistent and galvanizing brand personalities that resonate across as many channels as necessary to achieve his clients’ goals.
After graduating from Memphis College Art BFA MFA, Nakita began his design journey as a media innovator, supporting top companies such as Sony Music Three 6 Mafia as they changed the world. His time at MCA helped cystalize his passion for improving the quality of life in his community – as a mentor for others, a creator of new opportunities, and a champion of creativity, innovation, hard work, and excellence.
